FILAMENT BROCKEN

The Constant Tension Transport with Electronic Servo Drive (CTT-E) is a dynamic testing device available as a mini-laboratory for yarns. Thanks to its interchangeable test modules, the CTT-E can perform more than ten tests on the same device for all natural and synthetic yarns, as well as technical yarns such as aramid, carbon, fiberglass, and elastane. This versatility, combined with the dynamic testing principle that examines each yarn section, eliminates the high costs of trials on actual production machines before the yarn is fed into the next textile process.

The electronic servo drive and tension arm system maintain a constant input tension between 2 g and 1000 g at testing speeds between 20 and 1000 m/min.

Dynamic testing conditions allow for the testing of each yarn section to predict yarn behavior and avoid the high costs of trials on production machines.

Easy-to-install test modules enable measurements ranging from the coefficient of friction and entanglement to yarn appearance, all with the same instrument.

Four clamping arms with different maximum tension and sensitivity ranges.

Available with standard (1000 g) and spandex tension measuring heads (100 g).

Suitable for all types of natural and synthetic yarns, including cotton, polyester, nylon, wool, silk, acrylic, flax, viscose, and carpet yarns.

Performance testing of technical yarns such as aramid, carbon, spandex, fiberglass, and monofilament.
